The environments are varied, snow, mountains, forest, marshland, trenches, seaside cliffs as you fight your way through hordes of 'Grunts' and other enemies. Some missions let you use a jet pack, while others are turret missions where you defeating literal armies. The humor comes not only from the storyline and missions at one point rescuing a sacred lamb, for instance , but the constant chatter among the Lionhearts, and the reactions of the foes they face.

Weapon choices run from fairly conventional machine guns and sniper rifles to crazy stuff like the landshark gun, which launches sharks that track and devour enemies, or the blackhole bomb, which rips a hole in time-space to send them to who knows where. There are various bonus levels and options that can be unlocked by finding assorted treasures throughout the game. If I had any complaints with the game it's that the cut scenes don't appear quite as clean and sharp as the gameplay, I'm guessing due to the animation process.

I would say the game is PG in the way of a rating, the violence more comic-bookish than gory, and some of the humor is a bit crude. There is no story. Just a shoot 'em up. I thought it was boring I would rather replay a game that I previously enjoyed than play this game for the first time. Before you buy this one, check-out some of the gameplay videos on youtube. Don't know if the game is fun or not as it came with a serious virus on the disk.
